Emmy Award 2024: The complete slate of finalists

The 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards have announced the TV shows and actors vying for top honors at the September ceremony.

This year's show follows the delayed 2023 Emmy Awards, which aired in early January due to last year's actors' and writers' strikes.

On Wednesday (July 17), Tony Hale, known for "Veep," and Sheryl Lee Ralph from "Abbott Elementary" revealed the contenders for this year’s awards.

As anticipated, FX’s historical drama "Shogun" and dark comedy "The Bear" received multiple nominations, along with Richard Gadd’s controversial Netflix hit, "Baby Reindeer."

To qualify for the Primetime Emmys, shows must have been broadcast in the US between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences selects the nominees.
